1st NAWDIC Workshop (Nov. 2020)
The initial idea of observing the interaction of dry intrusions with the planetary boundary layer has developed into a proposal that builds on insights from NAWDEX. The proposal was presented at the HALO status seminar in October 2019 and written by Christian Grams (KIT), Julian Quinting (KIT), Shira Raveh-Rubin (Weizmann Institute), Andreas Schäfler (DLR), George Craig (LMU Munich), Christoph Kottmeier (KIT), Peter Knippertz (KIT) and Volkmar Wirth (JGU Mainz). The 1st NAWDIC workshop took place online from 23-24 November 2020. About 49 participants from 10 countries, 29 different institutions including 5 weather services took part in this workshop.
